Currently serving patients located within parts of Sarasota & Charlotte County, ER2YOU is a locally owned and operated team of trained Emergency Medicine Physicians and Mid-level providers. ER2YOU is a mobile Urgent care that delivers high quality, time efficient, convenient medical care for a wide variety of non-life threatening injuries and illnesses.
Our services are not only offered for a fraction of a hospital-based emergency room visit cost, but also at the location of your choice. Instead of sitting in a crowded hospital or urgent care waiting room, you can wait in the comfort of your own home! Injured at the beach? MEET THE TEAM
Suzanna Vass, D.O.
President
Dr. Vass, originally from Scranton, Pennsylvania, graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Chemistry in 1993. She went onto medical school and graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1997 and then completed a 4 year Residency program in Emergency Medicine and is a board certified Emergency Medicine Physician.

Dr. Vass also served in the Air National Guard in Pittsburgh throughout her training and until her retirement from the U.S. Air Force as a Lt. Colonel and Chief of Aerospace Medicine. For 26 years she had the honor and privilege of serving her country both at home and abroad. When she is not seeing patients or managing the business, she enjoys beach time with friends.
Phyliis Sim,FNP-C
As a Family Nurse Practitioner, Phyllis A. Sim brings empathy, an easy going communication style and a sweet sense of humor, making it easy for her to talk to patients and family members. Phyllis has over 40 years of nursing, including 10 years in the Emergency Department, 7 of which at Grant Medical Center, a Class 1 Trauma Center in downtown Columbus, Ohio. She then decided to go back to school to receive her Masters of Science Nursing Degree and become a Board Certified Advance Practice Nurse Practitioner in Ohio. She graduated from Otterbein University in Westerville,Ohio,Suma Cum Laude in June 2008. She went to work for a well respected physician, who at 70 years of age, still made house calls in rural Knox County Ohio, which is what attracted Phyllis to ER2YOU!

The aging population is so great in SW Florida, it makes sense to visit and treat patients in their homes, just like the old time country doctors. Phyllis also started the first Nurse Practitioner owned and operated Walk In Clinc LLC in Ohio, which she ran for over 7 years before selling her practice and relocating to SW Florida in May of 2018. Phyllis will see Family Practice patients in their place of residence, where they feel safe and secure, can be heard wthout interruption, and treated with the skill and compassion they deserve.
Shannyn Estevez MSN, APRN, FNP-BC

Shannyn Estevez has been in the medical feild for more than 16 years. She has been an ICU nurse for 5 years and an ER nurse for 8 years. She then attended and graduated from Nova Southeastern University with her FNP-BC. Shannyn currently works as a charge nurse for Sarasota Memorial Hospital and while also providing quality care as a nurse practitioner for ER2YOU.

Born and raised in Key West, Florida Shannyn visits her family frequently when shes got a few spare days. She regularly enjoys the beach, boating, lobstering, and fishing with her 4 wonderful sons.
Joycelynn Harris, MSN, RN, APRN, FNP-C

Joycelynn was born and raised in Carver, Massachusetts. She spent four years in the Marine Corps as a military police officer and then moved to Florida and worked several years in emergency nursing. She is married to a Sarasota County firefighter that she met in the ER at Sarasota Memorial. Together they have three awesome children, twin boys and a younger sister.
She went back to school to pursue her dream of becoming a family nurse practitioner. and once completed, came on board at ER2YOU in May of 2021. Joycelynn currently lives in Venice and on her days off, you may see her attending her children's baseball, football, gymnastics, cheerleading, or wrestling events!
Abbigail Jones
Abby is a fourth generation floridian, born and raised in Englewood. She graduated from Venice High School with her A.A. and continues her education in the State College of Florida in the nursing program in pursuit of her RN.
Abby has been with ER2YOU for almost two years and in that time she has worked as a patient technician, office assistant, and much more. She is always willing to help and her skills and kindness are greatly appreciated by our patients.
When she is not working she enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, and taking care of her rabbit. She's your go-to for a good restaurant recommendation.

Patricia Hamann
Patricia is a retired Firefighter/EMT from Londonderry, NH where she raised her family (a son, now married living in Brooklyn, and a daughter living on Vancouver Island). She is originally from upstate NY where she attended the University of Rochester (studying Biology/Geology).
Patricia works as an EMT with the ER2YOU team. She also works for Sarasota Memorial Hospital and has started her own business, Alive & Wellness CPR, providing life-saving CPR/AED training.
When Patricia gets time off, she enjoys kayaking, teaching Jazzercise, dragonboat paddling, and traveling.

Kelsi Rhines
Kelsi is a seventh generation Floridian. She graduated North Port High School and attended Valencia College for her associates in early childhood education. She is currently continuing her education at the State College of Florida Nursing program for her RN.

Kelsi started working at ER2YOU in Febuary of 2023 as a patient technician. She has been working in healthcare for three years as a home health aide and loves to help others. When she is not working or studying for school she is at the beach or Disney.
